The Shine Gala Spotlight Award was created to encourage and reward commitment to community service and advocacy across the Greater Louisville, Southern Indiana, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky areas. This award is presented on behalf of the Kentuckiana Pride Foundation's newest initiative - The Shine Gala.  Please complete the form at the link below to nominate a community advocate leading the way in LGBTQIA+ leadership, health, youth, women, transgender rights, or other underserved areas. Kentuckiana Pride Foundation members are excluded from nominations. One free admission to The Shine Gala will be granted to the recipient. 

 The award benefits both the community service leader and an LGBTQIA+ organization in the Kentuckiana region that relates to The Shine Gala mission of creating a sustainable future for LGBTQIA+ organizations. The winner of this award receives a $500 cash prize and an award with recognition at the 2025 Shine Gala along with a $2,000 donation made in their honor to a a qualifying LGBTQIA+ community organization.  Nominations will close on September 12.
